Meet Sowmya Mohan, MD

Dr. Mohan is board-certified in Perinatal-Neonatal Medicine. She graduated from a combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency program at the University of Oklahoma before moving on to a neonatology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. She was awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research grant during her fellowship. After completing her fellowship training, Dr. Mohan joined the faculty in the Division of Neonatology at Emory University. In addition to clinical duties, she was the Director of the Outreach and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification training programs for the Division of Neonatology. She was actively involved in mentoring residents and fellows as well as serving on the Neonatology Fellowship Committee. Dr. Mohan joined CHRISTUS Children's in 2020 where her focus is on patient care, educational programs and teaching, quality improvement efforts, and the neonatal cardiac program.
